THE RIDERS IN THE SKY: FRED "TOO SLIM" LA BOUR, PAUL "WOODY PAUL" CHRISMAN and DOUGLAS "RANGER DOUG" GREEN Longstanding members of the comedic Western music trio sign their stage names on this index card in black ink Signatures: "Woody Paul", "Ranger Doug", and "Too Slim" in black ink, 5x3. Logging over 6,200 live performances and hundreds of TV appearances, The Riders in the Sky are a Western music group known for their comedic bent. They have their own radio show, Riders Radio Theater, and boast an impressive discography. The group, made up of FRED LA BOUR (b. 1948), PAUL CHRISMAN (b. 1949), and DOUGLAS GREEN (b. 1946) (Joey Miskulin has also intermittently been a member, but he did not sign here.) primarily performs renditions of traditional Western and cowboy songs. They are known to introduce themselves as "Ranger Doug, The Idol of American Youth", "Woody Paul, the King of the Cowboy Fiddlers", and "Too Slim, the Man of a Thousand Hats". The winners of two Grammy Awards, the group has written music for major motion pictures such as "Woody's Roundup" featured in Toy Story 2 (1999).
