Playbill for the National Actors Theatre production of Anton Chekhov'sThe Seagull at New York's Lyceum Theatre (November 1992 - January 1993). After a decade of supporting roles, JOHN VOIGHT (b. 1938) achieved stardom in Midnight Cowboy (1969). He earned Academy Award nominations for that film as well as for Runaway Train (1985) and Ali (2001), and won the Best Actor Oscar for his paraplegic Vietnam veteran in Coming Home (1978). In 2001, he played President Franklin Roosevelt in Pearl Harbor and father to his real life daughter, Angelina Jolie, in Lara Croft: Tomb Raider. TYNE DALY (b. 1946) won four Emmy awards for her portrayal of Mary Beth Lacey in Cagney and Lacey (1988). In 1994, she starred in the short-lived TV drama Christy, and in 1995, appeared in a trio of Cagney and Lacey reunions. Daly, who has also made a number of other made-for-TV movies, portrayed Maxine Gray on the CBS series, Judging Amy, from 1999-2005, winning an Emmy Award in 2003. TONY ROBERTS (b. 1939) began his long relationship friendship and professional connection with Woody Allen when Roberts was cast as Diane Keaton's husband in Allen's Broadway production Play It Again, Sam in 1969. Since that time, Roberts has appeared in such Allen efforts as Annie Hall (1977), Stardust Memories (1980), A Midsummer Night's Sex Comedy (1982) and Radio Days (1987). He co-starred in the 1977 television series Rossetti and Ryan. Jill Clayburgh's (1933-2010) "official" stepping stones into stardom include her continuing role on the TV daytime drama Search for Tomorrow and her Broadway appearances in such successes as The Rothschilds and Pippin. Some of the highlights of her film career include Portnoy's Complaint (1972), The Thief Who Came to Dinner (1974), Silver Streak (1977) and Semi-Tough (1977). Patrick Wilson (born in 1973) is an American actor and singer. Singing in Broadway musicals since the mid 1990's, the actor began his successful screen career appearing in the 2003 HBO mini-series Angels in America. He has appeared and starred in several films and plays including The Alamo (2004), The Phantom of the Opera (2004), Little Children (2006), Watchmen (2009) and The A-Team (2010). ETHAN HAWKE (b. 1970) has been nominated for Academy Awards for Best Supporting Actor (Training Day, 2001) and Best Adapted Screenplay (Before Sunset, 2004, in which he also starred). Hawke, who made his film debut at the age of 14 in Explorers (1985), has appeared in a number of feature films, including Dead Poets Society (1989), A Midnight Clear (1992), Quiz Show (1994), Before Sunrise (1995), Gattaca (1997), Hamlet (2000) and Assault on Precinct 13 (2005). In addition to maintaining his ties with the theatre, he has also published two novels. JOHN BEAL (1909-1997) began his film career acting opposite of Katherine Hepburn in the RKO film The Little Minister (1939). Another notable screen appearance was in Les Miserables. During World War II he served in the special forces as an actor and director of the Army Air Forces camp shows and training films. He continued to work in films and television until the 1980's. Some of his other films include Madame X (1939), The Cat and the Canary (1939), Twelve Angry men (1954) and Amityville 3-D (1983). JOHN FRANKLYN-ROBBINS (1924-2009) was seen on TV in his native Britain for a half century, beginning in 1955. He is one of the few actors to appear in both the Star Trek and Dr. Who series. His last feature film was The Golden Compass (2007). Surface lightly rubbed. Otherwise, fine condition.
