The Vagabonds were a signing comedy quartet who were popular in
nightclubs and television shows during the immediate postwar era of WWII.
Comprised of Attilio Risso (accordion), Pete Peterson (standup
bass) and guitarists Dominic Germano and Al Torriere, The Vagabonds were
featured guests performers on The Colgate Comedy Hour (1954-1955),
Perry Como's Kraft Music Hall (1958), The Ed Sullivan Show
(1956-1964) and The Dean Martin Comedy Hour (1965). They also
earned some spots in movies, appearing in Swing Out the Blues (1943) and
Tahiti Nights (1944). Billed as America's "daffiest, laughiest swing
quartet", they remained in popularity until the mid-1960s. Peterson continued
