THE VISIT/CHEMIN DE FER/HOLIDAY PLAY CAST: JORDAN CHRISTOPHER and SYBIL CHRISTOPHER
The husband and wife sign a cover of a Playbill magazine for three shows played in repertory at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre
Show Bill Cover signed: "Jordan Christopher" and "Sybil/Christopher", Color 5¾x9. Cover of a Playbill magazine for three shows played in repertory at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre, The Visit, Chemin de Fer and Holiday (1973-1974). American actor JORDAN CHRISTOPHER (1942-1996) was born in Youngstown, Ohio. He appeared in fifteen films and television series between 1966 and 1987 including Return of the Seven (1966), Pigeons (1970), Brainstorm (1983) and Star 80 (1983). He was married to from 1966 until his death to stage actress and theatre producer Sybil Christopher, whom he met while lead singer of the rock band at her New York Club, "Arthur." SYBIL CHRISTOPHER (1929-2013) is a Drama Desk Award nominated stage actress and producer. A founder of the non-profit, 300 seat, Bay Street Theatre, she served as the Theatre's producing director. Sybil had married fellow Welsh actor Richard Burton, with whom she was cast in her only movie, The Last Days of Dolwyn from 1949 until 1963. Sybil, content to remain in the background during her marriage to Burton, came into her own as a major figure in the New York social and theatrical scene after he left her for Elizabeth Taylor. Lightly frayed at left edge. Lightly worn. Lightly soiled. Otherwise, fine condition.
