THE WINDS OF WAR MOVIE CAST: ROBERT MUTCHUM, POLLY BERGEN, BEN MURPHY, AND VICTORIA TENNANT
The Winds of War movie cast sign a 43½x33 color poster for their movie.
Large Poster inscribed and signed: "Marc-/Robert/Mitchum", "Polly Bergen", "Marc/For caring.../Ben/Murphy" and "To Marc/Best wishes/Victoria/Tennant". Color, 43½x33. ROBERT MITCHUM was Victor "Pug" Henry, POLLY BERGEN was his wife, Rhoda Henry, BEN MURPHY was their eldest son Warren Henry and Victoria Tennant was Pamela Tudsbury, a British woman with whom Pug had an affair. The Winds of War, based on Herman Wouk's novel, was a mammoth TV miniseries which lasted seven consecutive nights, 18 hours, from February 6-13, 1983, on ABC. It followed the exploits of career naval officer Pug Henry and his family, set against the backdrop of world events from the Nazi invasion of Poland in 1939 to the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941. For their performances, Bergen was nominated for an Emmy and Tennant for a Golden Globe. Creased. Folds, separations at cross folds (none touch signatures). 1 fold touches signature. 1¼-inch slit touches 1 letter of title (partially intact). Slight surface wear touches Tennant's signature. Great for framing.
