THE (YOUNG) RASCALS: EDDIE BRIGATI, FELIX CAVALIERE, GENE CORNISH, DINO DANELLIThis guitar is a great piece of 1960s rock history. It's a New York Pro Telecaster-style electric guitar signed by four members of the Young Rascals. Guitar signed "Gene Cornish", "Eddie Brigati", "Felix Cavaliere/[symbol, possibly an Aum symbol]" and "Dino Danelli". 39x12½. With white "The Young Rascals" label on body. New York Pro Telecaster-style electric guitar with clear butterscotch wood varnish on body and white pick guard. The Rascals, called The Young Rascals for three years because of objections from another group, scored their first #1 hit, Good Lovin, in 1965. Although Good Lovin' was a cover, the Rascals followed with a string of original hits, including How Can I Be Sure, Beautiful Morning and People Got to Be Free. The group consisted of EDDIE BRIGATI as lead vocalist, FELIX CAVALIERE on drums and vocals, GENE CORNISH on guitar and DINO DANELLI on drums. The Rascals' style of soul-influenced rock was imitated by many other white bands. Danelli's signature is lightly smudged but legible. Pick guard is warped. Otherwise in fine condition. Authenticated by Roger Epperson.
