THERE'S SOMETHING ABOUT MARY: MATT DILLON and CAMERON DIAZ
The two are shown in character as Pat Healy and Mary Jenson in a scene from the 1998 comedy There's Something About Mary
Photograph signed: "Cameron/Diaz" and "Matt Dillon". Color, 10x8. The Farrelly Brothers set the 1998 romantic comedy There's Something About Mary in their home state of Rhode Island. With gross receipts of $176.8 million, at the time of its release the film was 20th Century Fox's third highest grossing comedy of all time (behind Home Alone and Mrs. Doubtfire). In 1998, Dillon also appeared in the feature film, Wild Things, and was seen on the small screen as a presenter on The 70th Annual Academy Awards. Best known early in his career for playing troubled youth, actor Matt Dillon (born in 1964) made his film debut in Over the Edge (1979), followed by such other youth-oriented outings as Tex (1982), The Outsiders (1983) and Rumble Fish (1983). He made his first adult action film, Target, in 1985, and followed his success with such films as Drugstore Cowboy (1989), Crash (2004) and Herbie: Fully Loaded (2005) in addition to There's Something About Mary, which co-starred Cameron Diaz, whom Dillon dated during the late 1990s. Model turned actress Cameron Diaz made her screen debut in The Mask (1994). Many prominent movie roles followed, including There's Something about Mary (1998), Any Given Sunday (1999), Charlie's Angels (2000) and In Her Shoes (2005). She is the voice of Princess Fiona in Shrek (2000), Gangs of New York (2002) and Knight and Day (2010). Fine condition.
