"Minutes of a Meeting of the Board of Directors of Thomas A. Edison, Inc.", pages 199-200. Also signed by Edison's son Charles and four others. William Maxwell, Musical Phonograph Business, was present. In part: "Mr. Maxwell stated that the Fitzgerald Music Company, Los Angeles, Cal., one of our best dealers, has contracted for a sign, to be placed on the top of the Los Angeles Railway Building, for a period of five years from April 1, 1921. The sign is to be a flasher, which will display Fitzgerald's name and address, in alternation with 'KNABE WITH THE AMPICO' and 'THE NEW EDISON.' The rental is $550 per month, of which Edison Phonographs, Ltd. is to pay $150.00, the Knabe Company $150.00 and the Fitzgerald Music Company $250.00. Mr. Maxwell considered that Thomas A. Edison, inc. should pay one-half of the cost to Edison Phonographs, Ltd...." Lightly creased. Lightly shaded edges, upper and lower edges chipped. Binding strip affixed at blank left margin. 2, 2-inch tears at blank right margin have been repaired with tape on verso (no show through). Light show through of signatures. Overall, fine condition.
