No place, 1920 October 19.Minutes of a meeting of the Board of Directors of Thomas A. Edison, Inc. Three resolutions relating to Edison's Musical Phonograph Division were adopted by unanimous affirmative vote. One extends a "Prize Money Plan for the employees of the Musical Phonograph Division", an incentive to increase sales. Another raises the prices of two "series Disc Re-Creations" from $1.15 to $1.35 and $1.70 to $1.85 while lowering all higher priced Re-Creations to $2.25. The third resolution changes "the design of Disc Phonographs so as to include the 'Built-in Filing Device'". Pages numbered 155-158 (158 blank). WILLIAM MAXWELL has signed after each resolution as "Vice President in charge of Phonograph Industry". CHARLES EDISON has signed as Chairman of the Board, STEPHEN B. MAMBERT and HARRY F. MILLER signed as Directors and J.W. ROBINSON signed as Secretary. THOMAS A. EDISON signed on the second page under "Read and Approved". Fragile. Chipped at upper edges of both pages. 1-inch binding strips affixed at blank left edges, light show through and rippling on verso. ½-inch tears at upper and lower blank left edges of both pages.
