THOMAS ARMSTRONG
He forwards a sketch which doesn't suit his artistic plans but may be
useful as a student exercise.
Autograph Letter signed: "T. Armstrong", 2 pages (integral
leaf), 4½x7. No place, 1886 March 13. To "My dear Miss Rowe",
in full: "I am sending on a sketch which Mr. [?] has been
good enough to make for us. The sketch does not suit our plans but perhaps it
may be well to have it executed in wood as an experiment or exercise if you
think there is enough in the drawing for any of your students to work from. I
hope Miss Williams is better. Yours very truly". English figure painter
