In full: "Gentlemen- Thanks for your request- the enclosed may fit the bill= sorry to take so long- as I had to go to N.Y. = my brother passed away & I had to arrange things. = Thanks again Very Truly" American stage, television and film actor Thomas E. Jackson (1886-1967) was born in New York City, New York. A performer, producer and director on Broadway for three decades during the start of his career, Jackson moved on to work in talking pictures, most notably Little Caesar (1931), Manhattan Melodrama (1934), The Woman in the Window (1944) and The Big Sleep (1946). He made another career for himself transitioning into a television character actor and appeared on numerous television programs from 1954 to 1965 including The Lone Wolf (1954), Topper (1954), Dragnet (1956), Adventures of Superman (1957), Lawman (1958), The Deputy (1961), 77 Sunset Strip (1962) and The Loner (1965). Paperclip indentations at top left. Otherwise, fine condition.
