Lawyer, businessman and University of Iowa professor Thomas E. Martin (1893-1971), a Republican, represented Iowa in the US House of Representatives (1939-1955) and Senate (1955-1961). This photo was acquired by George Sanders, a radio/TV interview host in Los Angeles, and later Portland, who collected autographs from guests on his program. Multiple surface creases seen head on.
