Moe Howard writes to a fan thanking her for the dog and letting her
know where they will be next.
Autograph Letter Signed: "Moe", 1½p, 5x6½. Chicago,
Illinois, no date. On The Sheraton-Chicago Hotel stationery. To Linda. In
part: "Your letter was forwarded to me here in Chicago. We leave here
tomorrow for an extended tour until the end of November. Thank you so very much
for the little dog you sent some time ago and for your very recent note you sent
on July 18, 1961...I hope you get to see us in Snow White and in the future
perhaps you can get the 3 Stooges in their Hercules picture...The best of
everything to you always. Sincerely." In 1925, Ted Healy organized The Three
Stooges comedy team with brothers MOE HOWARD and Shemp Howard and Larry
Fine. In 1932, Shemp left the act and was replaced by brother Jerry (Curly)
Howard. Curly had a stroke in 1946 and Shemp returned to the Stooges. Shemp died
in 1955. Fold creases not near signature. Fine condition.
