The acclaimed pianist and instructor signs this letter to a Mr.
Cooke
Autograph letter signed: "Thuel Burnham" in black ink. 8½x11.
New York City, undated. On personal letterhead to "My Dear Mr. Cooke",
in full: "Many thanks for your very kind letter with the check
enclosed. I am glad you liked the article and I have several others in
preparation which I will send later for for [sic] your approval. With
kindest regards- Very cordially yours-". Thuel Burnham was an
American pianist who lived in Paris as well as New York in the early 1900s. He
had a creative, technical approach to playing the piano where he analyzed hand
movements and weight on the keys to achieve the best sound for a piece. Toned.
Right edge folded and creased. Normal mailing folds. Darkening on edges.
