TIM CURRY
Black and white movie still shown as Dr. Frank-N-Furter from the film The Rocky Horror Picture Show
Photograph signed "Tim Curry" in blue ink. B/w, 10x8. British actor Curry, born Timothy James Curry in 1946, is probably best known to midnight movie mavens as Dr. Frank-N-Furter from that cultural institution in fishnets, The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975). He has appeared in almost 200 movies, TV shows and video games since 1968 and shows no signs of stopping. After Rocky, he displayed a talent for playing deliciously malevolent villains, like Pennywise the Clown in It (1990), Captain Hook in the animated series Peter Pan and the Pirates (1990), which won him a Daytime Emmy. He has also appeared in numerous comedic roles and done voice acting for many animated cartoons, including the voice of MAL in Captain Planet and the Planeteers (1991-1992), Dr. Anton Sevarius in Gargoyles (1995-1996), George Herbert Walker "King" Chicken in Duckman: Private Dick/Family Man (1994-1997), Nigel Thornberry in The Wild Thornberrys (1998-2001) and Professor Finbarr Calamitous in The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius (2003-2005). Curry has appeared on Broadway and earned Tony nominations for his performances in as Mozart in Amadeus (1980-1983), Alan Swann in My Favorite Year (1992-1993) and King Arthur in Spamalot (2005). A talented singer as well as an actor, his single I Do the Rock broke into Billboard's Hot 100 chart in 1979. Lightly toned. Light discoloration at right edge. Otherwise, fine condition.
