Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor (Mystic River, 2003) and
nominated for an Oscar for Best Director (Dead Man Walking, 1995),
multitalented actor, director and writer Tim Robbins (born in 1958) made guest
appearances on TV shows such as St. Elsewhere (1982) and Hill Street
Blues (1984) before making his film debut in Toy Soldiers in 1984.
His breakthrough role was in Bull Durham (1988), in which he
co-starred with Susan Sarandon, with whom he has had a relationship (and
two children) since. Robbins' other films include Cadillac Man (1990),
The Player (1992), Bob Roberts (1992), The Shawshank
Redemption (1994), The Cradle Will Rock (1999), High
Fidelity (2000), Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004) and
War of the Worlds (2005). Robbins' father, Gil Robbins, was a
member of the folk group, The Highwaymen. Minor surface creases and smudges (not
evident head-on). Fine condition.
