Original Art Signed: "Tim Hunt/[drawn diagram]/the cell cycle" on verso. B/w, 8x10 overall, image 4¼-inch diameter (one surface). Photograph of a medal struck for the 100th anniversary of the Nobel Prizes. Timothy Hunt (born in 1943) of the Imperial Cancer Research Fund, London, along with his English colleague, Paul Nurse, and American scientist Leland Hartwell, received the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine (2001) for "discoveries of 'key regulators of the cell cycle.'"
