Opera in Moscow - Russian opera of this era incorporated music and dance -
left Russian after the Bolshevik Revolution, becoming a nightclub performer
in the US. In 1927, she made headlines when her husband, allegedly a former
Russian count, was indicted for bigamy under his true name. In 1942, she won a
settlement of $428 after successfully suing a Miami Beach nightclub owner for
