TITANIC MOVIE CAST: LEONARDO DICAPRIO and KATE WINSLET This publicity page with two black and white photographs, one of passengers boarding the Titanic, the other with the boats tipping, are signed by the two stars of the 1997 film Printed Photographs Signed: "Leonardo/DiCaprio" and "Love,/Kate/Winslet/x" . B/w, 8x10 overall, Two 5½x3½ photos (one surface) showing: (1) passengers boarding the ship and (2) lifeboats being lowered from the ship. The 1997 film Titanic won eleven of the fourteen 1998 Academy Awards for which it was nominated, including Best Picture. The film is one of the highest-grossing of all time. Possessing a voluptuous, old-fashioned beauty that lends itself to costume dramas, British-born actress Kate Winslet rocketed to major stardom when she played the romantic lead opposite Leonardo DiCaprio in the mega-blockbuster Titanic (1997). Nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance, Winslet became the youngest actress to garner her second Oscar nomination. Since that time, Winslet has been nominated for a Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for Iris (2001) and the Best Actress Oscar for Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004). She won the 81st Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in The Reader (2008). After youthful television roles in Santa Barbara and Growing Pains, Leonardo DiCaprio (b. 1974) earned a Best Supporting Actor Oscar nomination for his portrayal as a mentally handicapped youth in What's Eating Gilbert Grape (1993). He became a big name star soon thereafter in films like William Shakespeare's Romeo + Juliet (1996), but especially Titanic (1997), one of the largest grossing movies of all time. DiCaprio has become a lead actor who production companies know they can depend on for a huge profit; he often works with director Martin Scorsese (Gangs of New York, 2002; Shutter Island, 2010; Wolf of Wall Street, 2013). Over the course of his career, he's been nominated for many Academy Awards and Golden Globes, including multiple nominations for the Best Actor Oscar. Fine condition.
