4½x5. Todd Andrew Krygier (b. 1965) is a former American ice hockey
player. After playing for the University of Connecticut, Krygier was selected by
the Hartford Whalers in the 1988 NHL Supplemental Draft. He played parts
of two seasons with the Whalers before being traded to the Washington
Capitals in 1991. In 1994 he played a season and a half with the Mighty
Ducks of Anaheim before he was re-acquired by the Capitals. It was during his
second tour with the Capitals that he flourished as his gritty style of play
helped guide the Capitals to their first ever appearance in the Stanley Cup
Finals in 1998. Krygier played two seasons with the Orlando Solar Bears of
the International Hockey League before retiring from active play. In June 2013,
Krygier was announced as the new coach of the Muskegon Lumberjacks USHL
team. Lightly toned. Lightly creased. Otherwise, fine
condition.
