Signature: "Tom/ Bladon" in blue ink. 3½x6. Tom "Bomber" Bladon (b.1952) is a retired NHL defenseman who played 9 seasons with the Philadelphia Flyers, Pittsburgh Penguins, Edmonton Oilers, Winnipeg Jets and Detroit Redwings between 1972 and 1981. Bladon is a two-time Stanley Cup Champion with the 1974 and 1975 Flyers. Known as the "Bomber" for his aggressive play, Bladon is most remembered for the Flyers' win over the Cleveland Barons when he scored 4 goals and earned 4 assists, totaling 8 points--a team record--making him the first NHL defenseman in history to ever score 8 points in a single match. In the NHL, Bladon played 610 games, scoring 73 goals and aiding in 197 assists. Corners slightly rounded. Small ink stains on verso. Fine condition.
