TOM CHAPIN
The Grammy Award winning musician and story teller signs on this
black and white publicity photograph.
Photograph signed: "Tom Chapin", in blue ink, B/w 8x10.
Captioned at lower margin. Tom Chapin (b. 1945) is a Grammy Award
winning musician and storyteller, brother to famous musicians Jim Chapin and
Harry Chapin. Chapin and his brothers recorded an early album together when
they were young, though the album proved unsuccessful. They decided to work
solo, with Harry Chapin having the most famous music career with his hit single
"Cat's In The Cradle". Tom pursued music, and still does today, but has
made his mark on the world with his spoken word albums for children, which
have won him three Grammys. In addition to his music, Chapin has one
Broadway play to his credit, appearing in the 1982 musical Pump
Boys and the Dinettes. Residue on corners. Residue stain above the brim
of Chapin's hat on photo. Otherwise, fine condition.
