On letterhead of the Law Offices of Armstrong, Hirsch & Levine, Los Angeles, California to Mr. Michael Sigel, Towson, Maryland. Headed: "Re: 'Instructional Pool Video' - Consent". The actor grants Siegel the right to use his endorsement for a videocassette in consideration for Siegel's assistance in helping Cruise to prepare for a role as a pool player in The Color of Money. In part: "You have recently prepared an educational/instructional videocassette for home use entitled 'Michael Sigel's Winning Edge On Pocket Billiards'...In consideration of your assistance in helping me prepare for my role as a pool player in the motion picture "The Color of Money"...I grant you the right to use, and to authorize the manufacturer and distributor...to use the following quotation...'In a very short time Mike Sigel's patience and expert teaching technique enabled me in "The Color of Money" to look like a professional pool player. Thanks again, Mike'...The right to use my name in the limited manner set forth herein shall be revocable by me at will...." Also signed: "Michael Sigel" under "Agreed and Accepted".
