TOM MARTIN
The former NHL forward signs, "#8" in blue ink
Signature: "Tom/Martin/#8" in blue felt tip, 5x3. Former
NHL left wing Tom Martin (b.1964) played 6 seasons in the NHL with
the Winnipeg Jets, Hartford Whalers and the Minnesota North Stars between 1984
and 1990. While playing in the NHL, Martin also was active in the AHL,
winning a Calder Cup in 1985 and making the First Team AHL All-Star in
1988. Martin is famous for a hilariously bizarre trade situation where he
had his junior playing rights traded by the Seattle Breakers to the Victoria
Cougars in exchange for the Cougar's team bus. In the NHL, Martin played 92
games, earning 12 goals and 11 assists. Pencil note (unknown hand) on verso.
