Photograph signed: "Tom Paciorek", in blue ink, color, 3½x5. Tom Paciorek (b. 1946) is a
former MLB outfielder and first baseman who played eighteen seasons for six different teams,
his longest tenure was with the Los Angeles Dodgers at the beginning of his career
(1970-1975). His best season was in 1981 with the Seattle Mariners, when he played full time
for the first time in his career and batted .326. He was named an All-Star that year. He earned
a career batting average of .282 with 1,162 hits and 503 RBIs. In 1974, he earned a National
League pennant and currently holds the Major League Record for most hits in one game
by a substitute for a starter (5 hits). His two brothers also had stints in the major leagues,
although neither were quite as successful at the professional level as Tom. Since his
retirement, Paciorek has worked as a color commentator for various MLB clubs, most
notably with the White Sox throughout the 1990s. Faint pencil note "Tom Paciorek" on
verso. Otherwise, fine condition.
