name to The Shondells in 1964, the year they first released the song Hanky
Panky, which became a huge hit in 1966. I Think We're Alone Now,
Mony Mony, Crimson and Clover and Crystal Blue Persuasion
followed before the group broke up in 1970 and James embarked on a solo career.

including Three Times in Love. His
songs have been featured in a number of feature films, including Forrest
Gump, Cape Fear, Don't Tell Mom The Babysitter's Dead and
Apollo 13. In Me, the Mob, and the Music, James pulls no punches
in discussing issues like his fight with substance abuse and the Genovese crime
family connections of his label, Roulette Records. Fine condition.
