Documentary Letter signed: "Tommy Lee Jones" on last sheet, 12p, 8½x11, separate sheets. Los Angeles, California, 1990 March 16. Begins with Exhibit A (on consecutively numbered pages 11-21 with one unnumbered page. Signed on page 21. Jones signs his acceptance of an agreement between Wings of the Apache, Inc. and Javelina Films Inc. for his employment in the film tentatively titled Wings of the Apache. This film, originally titled Wings of the Apache after the U.S. Army assault helicopters that played a prominent role, was released in 1990 as Firebirds. It starred Jones as Brad Little and Nicolas Cage as Jake Preston, an Army helicopter pilot whom Little must train to use the Apache to destroy the drug fields of a South American drug cartel. The Harvard roommate of future Vice President Al Gore, TOMMY LEE JONES won an Oscar as Best Supporting Actor as U.S. Marshal Sam Gerard in The Fugitive (1993). He also earned Emmys for the TV movies The Executioner's Song (1997) and Lonesome Dove (1989). The hugely popular Jones has starred in such films as Coal Miner's Daughter (1980), Batman Forever (1995), Men in Black (1997) and its sequel, Men in Black II (2002), and Space Cowboys (2000). In 2007 he scored a double hit with No Country for Old Men and The Valley of Elah, earning several nominations and awards for each. Lightly creased. Staple holes at upper left blank corners.
