Big band singer Arden writes note to a fan
Autograph Note signed: "For Frank/To Frank/Best/Toni Arden", 5¾x4 album leaf. Ink note (unknown hand): 4-13-72. Toni Arden, a big band singer of the 1940s (with Al Trace, Shep Fields and others) signed a solo recording contract with Columbia in 1959, switching to the Decca label in the mid-1950s. Her biggest hit was "Padre" (1958), but her other charting pop songs included "I Can Dream, Can't I?", "Too Young," and "Kiss of Fire." Slightly soiled. Left edge ragged from previous binding. Otherwise, fine condition.
