Sports card signed: "Tony Armas", in blue ink to the right of facsimile signature, 2½x3½. Tony Armas (b. 1953) is a former MLB outfielder who played for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Oakland Athletics, Boston Red Sox, and California Angels from 1976 to 1989. Armas is a two-time All-Star, Silver Slugger, AL home run champion, and AL RBI champion. A powerful player, Armas' career was affected by his bad health, partially causing his retirement in 1989. He later travelled to Venezuela to pursue a career as a coach, being inducted into the Venezuelan Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in 2005. Lightly toned and creased at edges. Signature lightly smudged, legible. Otherwise, fine condition.
