Document signed twice on p 6: "Tony Bennett" as lender (Tony Bennett Enterprises, Inc.), "Tony Bennett" as artist, 6 p, 8½x11 with 2p rider (secretarially signed). Burbank, California, 1969 September 26. Loan-Out Agreement between Tony Bennett Enterprises and C-G productions for Bennett's guest appearance on the Dean Martin Show, to be produced August 2 for broadcast on a national network October 30, 1969. Bennett is to be paid $7,500 for the initial showing and a first run, if any, and smaller amounts for subsequent reruns and foreign broadcasts. Bennett has been a successful singer of popular standards for more than half a century. (His first #1 hit, "Because of You", came in 1951). Bennett has earned nine Grammy Awards, the first for what has become his signature song, "I Left My Heart in San Francisco" (1962), the most recent for his album "Bennett Sings Ellington - Hot and Cool" (1999). Staple holes in upper left, three binder holes at left margin of each page. Horizontal fold touches "B" in "Bennett" as lender. Lightly creased at right edge. Otherwise, fine condition.
