Photograph signed: "Tony Bill", in black felt tip, B/w 10x8. Tony Bill (b. 1940) made his first feature film appearance in 1963 (as Frank Sinatra's younger brother in Come Blow Your Horn). He was seen frequently on TV, making recurring visits in the 1960s to Dr Kildare and The Man from UNCLE. He made a strong turn to directing in the next decade, sharing an Oscar for 1973's Best Picture, The Sting. In 1980, he directed his first film, My Bodyguard. Bill continues to show his versatility, acting in one episode of the new 2008 series Leverage and directing another. Corners worn and creased. Slightly toned. Small tears on top edge. Pencil notes (unknown hand) on verso. Top edge creased. Otherwise, fine condition.
