(as Frank Sinatra's younger brother in Come Blow Your Horn). He was seen
frequently on TV, making recurring visits in the 1960s to Dr. Kildare and
The Man from UNCLE. He made a strong turn to directing in the next
decade, sharing an Oscar for 1973's Best Picture, The Sting. In
1980, he directed his first film, My Bodyguard. Bill continues to show
his versatility, acting in one episode of the new 2008 series Leverage
and directing another. Austrian-born actor KURT KASZNAR (1913-1979) made
his US debut on the Broadway stage in The Eternal Road (1937). He
received a Tony nomination for Best Featured Actor in a Musical for The Sound
of Music (1960). His first feature film was The Light Touch (1951).
On TV, he often played shady characters, as in his recurring role on The Land
of Giants (1968-1970). Binder holes at right edge. Slightly worn at corners.
