Tony Blackburn (b.1943) is an English radio disc jockey, pop musician and actor who was a longtime host for Radio 1 London. The first radio DJ on BBC Radio 1, Blackburn hosted Radio Caroline from 1964 to 1967 when he was given his own morning show, The Radio 1 Breakfast Show. While he is mainly associated with bubble gum pop, Blackburn transitioned to soul music in the 1970s. He was also the host of The Golden Hour, Seaside Special,Radio 1's Top 40 show, and Capital Gold. While not the strongest of musicians, Blackburn released a few pop charters in his career, including "It's Only Love" (1969). Currently he presents his weekend breakfast show on 102.2 Smooth Radio London and is the host of BBC Radio 2's Pick of the Pops. Stray ink marks on verso (no show through). Otherwise, fine condition.
