Signature: "Tony Canzoneri" in pencil. 4x5. Tony Canzoneri (1908-1959) won five world boxing titles in three different divisions: Featherweight, Lightweight (twice), & Junior Welterweight (twice). He retired in 1939 with a record of 141-24-1, with 44 knockouts, and is enshrined in the International Boxing Hall of Fame. Harry Carp, who employed the stage name of Myrus, was a renowned "mentalist" with a remarkable gift for answering questions posed by members of the audience. His wife, Melba Merriam, who went by Elsie Myrus when acting as his assistant, collected autographs from celebrities attending his performances. This autograph was part of her collection. Toned.
