For Comfort, which was modeled after the British series, Keep it in the
Family, ran on the network until 1983 and in syndication until 1985.
DEBORAH VAN VALKENBURGH starred as Jackie Rush from 1980-1985, JM J.
BULLOCK played Monroe Fiscus from 1981-1986, LYDIA CORNELL co-starred
as Sara Rush from 1980-1985, NANCY DUSSAULT played Muriel Rush from
1980-1985, TED KNIGHT was cartoonist Henry Rush from 1980-1985 and
AUDREY MEADOWS appeared as Iris Martin from 1982-1984. In 1985, daughters
Jackie and Sara were written out of the show, which was retitled The Ted
Knight Show. Knight died the following year. Van Valkenburgh's signature
is smeared. Slightly creased at blank margins and corners, light black mark at
upper margin. Minor surface creases (not evident head on). Fine
condition.
