Swedish neurobiologist Torsten Nils Wiesel (b. 1924), working at Harvard Medical School with co-recipient David Hubel, earned a Nobel Price in Medicine in 1981 "for their discoveries concerning information processing in the visual system." They discovered that various forms of visual stimuli are handled by different parts of the brain. Slightly creased at left corners. Fine condition.
