Magazine Photograph Signed: "Tracy Austin/12/6/77/Age 14". Color, 7¾x10½, image 7¼x5¼
(one surface). Pictured with Sue Barker at Wimbledon. Tennis pro Tracy Austin, in ponytail
and pinafore, was the youngest of all major quarterfinalists at the 1977 Wimbledon - until
Jennifer Capriati, a younger 14, was a semifinalist in 1990. Austin won the US Open Singles
in 1979 and 1981. She and her brother, John, won the Wimbledon Mixed in 1980 (the only
brother-sister pair to do so). Turning pro in October 1978, Austin won $1,966,487 in career
prize money. She played on three winning Federation Cup teams (1978, 1979 and 1980) for
the U.S., and two Wightman Cup winners (1979, 1981). Austin entered the International
Tennis Hall of Fame in 1992. Fine condition.
