TROY DONAHUE. Photograph signed: "Troy Donahue". B/w, 10x8
overall, image 9½x7 (one surface). Still from the 1965 thriller, My Blood
Runs Cold, which starred Donahue as Ben Gunther and co-starred Joey
Heatherton and Barry Sullivan. © Warner Bros. Pictures Distributing

Johnson, Jr., made his film debut in 1957's Man Afraid. Two years later,
after being signed as a contract player by Warner Bros., Donahue became a
teen heartthrob when the studio cast him in A Summer Place (1959).
Donahue, whose most successful film was Parrish (1961), appeared
in films through 2000. He also starred in two television series, Surfside
Six (1960-1962) and Hawaiian Eye (1962-1963), and made
guest appearances on a long list of TV shows, from 1958 (The
Californians) through 1990 (Monsters). Donahue's four wives
included actress Suzanne Pleshette, to whom he was briefly married from
January 4-September 8, 1964. Lightly surface creased (most not evident head on).
Light stains at upper right margin and lower right edge (touching caption).
Black mark at lower left corner. Name written (unknown hand) in ink on verso,
which also has light green stain at lower right (no show through). Overall, fine
