TRUE CRIME: CLINT EASTWOOD and FRANCES FISHER. Originally specialized in Westerns, beginning with the TV's Rawhide, EASTWOOD became a major star in the "Spaghetti Westerns" of Sergio Leone, beginning with A Fistful of Dollars (1964). While continuing to make Westerns, Eastwood proved a popular, hard-boiled detective as well, beginning with Dirty Harry (1971). He can play sensitive roles as well, as opposite Meryl Streep in The Bridges of Madison County, which he also directed (1995). Eastwood has continued to succeed as an older actor in films like In the Line of Fire (1995) and Space Cowboys (2000). He has also proven to be an outstanding director, winning Oscars for Unforgiven (1991) and Million Dollar Baby (2004) and getting another nomination for Mystic River (2003). British-born stage, screen and television actress Frances FISHER (born in 1952) made her film debut in 1980's Sitting Ducks. In addition to that film and Unforgiven, the "fiery redhead's" credits include Striptease (1996), Titanic (1997), Gone in Sixty Seconds (2000) and House of Sand and Fog (2003). She has been seen on the small screen in made-for-TV movies, including Lucy and Desi: Before the Laughter (1991, as Lucille Ball), regular roles on two soaps, The Edge of Night (1976-1981) and The Guiding Light (1985), and TV series, including The Lyon's Den (2003-2004). Also well known for her stage work, the actress, who studied under Lee Strasberg, appeared in more than 30 productions in the 14 years she was based in New York. In 1993, Eastwood and Fisher had a daughter, Francesca Eastwood-Fisher. Fine condition.
