TWIGGY and WILLIAM ALLYN
A contract between Twiggy and A.L.A. Productions, agreeing for the model to serve as hostess for a program titled The Music Will Never Stop
Contract signed: "Twiggy" on page 2, on behalf of Twiggy Limited; Co-signed "William Allyn" on behalf of A.L.A. Productions, 2p, 8½x11. London, England, 1977 December [no day]. Twiggy agrees to serve as hostess of a TV show to be called The Music Will Never Stop being produced, filmed and released by A.L.A. Productions. She is to receive $1,000 and $50 per day of filming, plus transportation and other expenses for herself and her manager. (Research has uncovered no evidence that a production like this one, featuring Twiggy, was actually released.) TWIGGY was a supermodel by the age of 16 (1965). Her film debut was The Boyfriend (1970), which earned two Golden Globe awards. She was nominated for a Tony for her role in the remake of the Gershwin musical My One and Only. Twiggy has released musical albums in several genres, from rock to country to show tunes. In 1988 she married British actor/director Leigh Lawson. In recent years, she has hosted two programs on the independent British TV network ITV. WILLIAM ALLYN (1927-1999) was originally a stage actor, playing opposite such stars as Brando and Julie Harris. Switching to television production, he oversaw nearly 350 episodes of Peyton Place (1964-1969). His first TV movie, The Last Child was released in 1971, followed a decade later by his first large screen film, Rich and Famous. Binder and staple holes at top of each page. Otherwise, fine condition.
