In this 1988 film, muscle man Schwarzenegger showed unexpected comic talent as a mild-mannered bookworm, while the diminutive DeVito portrayed his aggressive, trouble-making fraternal twin. Austrian-born actor Arnold SCHWARZENEGGER, after winning several European contests and international titles (including Mr. Olympia), came to the U.S. for body-building exhibitions, billing himself immodestly but fairly accurately as "The Austrian Oak". A millionaire before the age of 22, Schwarzenegger decided to try acting -- and has become hugely successful at it. With his Conan movies (two), the actor established himself as an action star. He went on to star as the murderous android title character in three The Terminator films. In Kindergarten Cop (1991), Schwarzenegger played a hard-bitten police detective who found his true life's calling as a schoolteacher. He is married to JFK's niece, Maria Shriver. Running as a Republican in a special recall election on October 7, 2003, Schwarzenegger ousted incumbent Gray Davis to become Governor of California. He was re-elected in 2006, after proving that he could work well across party lines with the state's Democratic majorities in the legislature. DeVITO is one of Hollywood's most successful character actors, specializing in comic supporting roles. His first notable film role came in 1975 when he reprised his stage role of Martini in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest for the play's film adaptation. DeVito was elevated to fame three years later with his role as the obnoxious dispatcher Louie on the long-running television sitcom Taxi. His best-known roles in the 1980s were in a number of comedies, including the hugely successful Romancing the Stone (1984), its 1985 sequel Jewel of the Nile, Ruthless People (1986), Throw Momma From the Train (1987), Twins (1988) and The War of the Roses (1989). Some of his more successful producing endeavors were 1994's Pulp Fiction, Get Shorty (1995), Gattaca (1997) and Out of Sight (1998). Fine condition.
