SHIRLEY MacLAINE (b. 1934) made her Broadway debut as a 16-year-old chorus girl in Me and Juliet (1953). Her dancing skills were evident in the films Can-Can (1960) and Sweet Charity (1969). She received five Academy Award nominations for Best Actress, finally winning the coveted Oscar in 1983 for Terms of Endearment. MacLaine has written several books on reincarnation, channeling and "New Age" metaphysics. Her brother is actor Warren Beatty. ROBERT MITCHUM (1917-1997) played mostly villains early in his film career, including in the films Out of the Past (1947) and Cape Fear (1962). In 1945, he starred in The Story of G.I. Joe, giving a commendable performance that earned him his first and only Oscar nomination. He also portrayed detective Phillip Marlowe in Farewell My Lovely (1975), was in The Big Sleep (1978). Additionally, Mitchum starred in the TV miniseries The Winds of War (1983) and its sequel, War and Remembrance (1989). Lightly toned. Bowed. Otherwise, fine condition.
