humanity be destroyed unless his angels can find two good people. Unfortunately
for humanity, those two people are Travolta and Newton-John's characters. Two
of a Kind earned four Razzie Award nominations: Worst Picture, Worst
Director for John Herzfeld, Worst Actor for Travolta and Worst Actress for
Newton-John. Stage, screen and television actor TRAVOLTA, born in
Englewood, New Jersey in 1954, received Academy Award nominations for
Saturday Night Fever (1977) and Pulp Fiction (1994). Travolta,
who first found fame as Vinnie Barbarino in the TV sitcom Welcome Back,
Kotter (1975-1977), became a cultural phenomenon with the release
of the films and soundtracks of Saturday Night Fever and
Grease (1978). His Urban Cowboy (1980) gave as big a boost
to country music as Saturday Night Fever had for disco. Travolta's career
seemed in decline in the 1980s, but big successes in Pulp Fiction,
Get Shorty (1995), Face/Off (1997) and Swordfish (2002)
heralded his return as a major American actor. Travolta is also a licensed pilot
and has written several books. He has been married to actress Kelly Preston
since 1991. NEWTON-JOHN, born in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England in
1948,was an extremely popular country/pop singer during the 1970s whose
best known songs include If You Love Me (Let Me Know), Have You Never
Been Mellow and I Honestly Love You. Her films include Grease
(1978) and Xanadu (1980). Lightly scratched, scuffed and creased. Light
impression from disc on cover. Other light impressions on cover (not visible
head-on). Rounded corners. Otherwise in fine condition.
