Document Signed: "Tyrone Power". 1p, 8½x11. No place, 1942 November 4. Statement certifying that his total salary for calendar year 1941 was $204,325.00 and his total salary since December 31, 1941 to the present date has been $148,817.00. Ink stamp of "Auditing Department" in upper right corner. Tyrone Power (1914-1958) starred in adventure films including Suez, The Mark of Zorro, Blood and Sand, The Black Swan, Captain from Castile, The Black Rose and King of the Khyber Rifles. Twentieth Century Fox's most popular box office attraction, Power was cast in practically every major production turned out by the studio from 1936-1940. Power died of a heart attack at 44 in Spain on the set of Solomon and Sheba in 1958. Yul Brynner replaced him as Solomon. Lightly creased and soiled. File holes at top, with ¼-inch tears from holes to top edge. Clear mounting tape on verso shows through faintly at edges. Left and right edges nicked. Otherwise, fine condition.
