UNDER COLORADO SKIES MOVIE CAST: MONTE HALE and ADRIAN BOOTH
Hale tries to make moves on an unimpressed Booth in this scene from the 1947 film Under Colorado Skies.
Inscribed Printed Photograph signed in ink: "Hey Glenn/Warm regards/Monte Hale" and "To Glenn Blessings Adrian Booth Brian 99", B/w 10x8. Publicity photograph for the 1947 film Under Colorado Skies. One of Republic Pictures' singing cowboys, Monte Hale (1919-2009) had supporting roles in Westerns starring Roy Rogers and Sunset Carson before starring in his own series of films in the late 1940s. He later toured with the band of singing cowboy composer Ray Whitley. Hale is a member of the Western Music Association Hall of Fame. After small roles in films like Mr. Smith Goes to Washington (1939), Adrian Booth (1917-2017) became a star in "B" action movies for Columbia and then Republic films. Her prominent film roles began with Valley of the Zombies (1946) and concluded with The Sea Hornet (1951). Before becoming Adrian Booth in 1946, she went by the names of Virginia "Ginger" Pound (vocalist for Roger Pryor's band) and Lorna Gray. She was married to actor David Brian until his death in 1993.
