Cordelia. In full: "Three cheers for the new plans, and I will do my
best for you in the grand book. You will be surprised, soon. It was great
to hear about it all, and to feel I was in the game. Come to see us! Come to see
us!" The volumes of verse by poet Vachel Lindsay, who was known for his
lyric quality and simple but forceful rhythms, include General William Booth
Enters into Heaven and Other Poems (1913), The Congo and Other Poems
(1914) and The Chinese Nightingale and Other Poems (1917). Lightly
creased, not at signature. Fine condition.
