Pen and ink drawing of face, 8x10 art board. Vera Miles (b. 1929) proved adept at playing hysterical or mentally imbalanced women. A favorite of director Alfred Hitchcock, her film roles include The Wrong Man and The Searchers (1956), The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance (1962) and Separate Lives. Miles also guest-starred in many TV series and pilots through the 1980s. Lightly creased at upper blank corners. Slightly soiled. Fine condition.
