Gore, the son of former U.S. Senator Albert Gore, Sr., served as U.S.
Congressman from Tennessee from 1977-1985. Gore was later U.S.
Senator (1985-1993) and Clinton's Vice President (1993-2001)
and lost to George W. Bush in the 2000 presidential election. DIRECTLY FROM
THE SALE OF THE ESTATE OF DANIEL PATRICK MOYNIHAN. Moynihan (1927-2003)
represented New York in the U.S. Senate as a Democrat for four terms
(1977-2001). A prolific author, he served in the administrations of four
