Photograph unsigned. Pink-toned b/w, 8¼x10¾ overall, 7x9 ½ image, one surface. Partial
facsimile signature at bottom edge: "Geo. Clinton". Clinton (1739-1812) was New York
State's first Governor (1777-95, 1800-04). He was also Vice President under Presidents
Thomas Jefferson and James Madison, serving from 1805 until his death on April 20,
1812. Lightly toned and bowed. Signature is cut off by bottom edge. Otherwise in fine
condition.
