Bust portrait by "Autrey" depicting the 1935 Academy Award winning Best Actor (title role as Gypo Nolan in The Informer) as a smiling soldier wearing helmet and chin-strap. Most probably from his 1926 silent film, What Price Glory? Faint vertical crease through face right of his eye, light stains at top center (at top of helmet), mounting remnants on verso at corners, else fine.
